Features & Roadmap
What's actually shipped, what's still just an idea, and a short note on why each one seemed worth doing. Nothing below is a promise — see About for the bigger picture.

Reroll & Lock
The core loop. Reroll gets you a new concept; locking a genre, tone, era, location, or world keeps it fixed while the rest keeps changing. It's the difference between starting over and steering.
Save concepts
Keep concepts you like in your browser, no account needed. Nothing leaves your machine until you choose to export or share it.
Export & Import
Download a single concept or your whole saved collection as a file, and bring it back later — same browser, a different one, or after clearing your data.
Post a generated concept straight from Indiema, formatted like the app's own concept card.
Proposed
Searchable attribute picker
Click an attribute — genre, tone, era, location, world — and search or select directly from its full pool, instead of only reaching a specific value by rerolling until it comes up. An escape hatch alongside reroll and lock, not a replacement for either.
Word-level editing
Beyond the five attributes and three flavor tokens, individual pieces of the rendered text — an adjective, a verb, a short phrase like "a circle of scientists" — would become their own lockable or editable ingredients, not just whatever the attribute behind them happened to produce.
Public feed
Release a concept publicly, credited to you, visible to anyone on the site.
Remix a shared concept
Load a concept someone else released to the public feed into your own generator, to keep rerolling, locking, and developing it further on your own — an extension of the public feed, not a separate feature.
User-submitted values
Users are able to contribute names, locations, or other pool values to the publicly available datasets.
Real-world production attributes
New attribute pools grounded in actual moviemaking — real filming locations, actors, viewing format (IMAX, 70mm, 35mm), soundtrack suggestions.
